Online raffle tickets are just a row in a database, and some players like something they can hold: a receipt to print or save, with their numbers on it and a way to prove it's genuine. The Print Ticket add-on for RaffKing and PrizeX gives buyers exactly that, a printable receipt with a QR code for each ticket that opens a public page confirming the ticket is real. This guide covers what the receipt shows, how the QR check works, what the check page tells someone at each stage of a draw, and what it doesn't do.

What Print Ticket is

Printing a receipt

How the QR check works

What the check page says

"Verified Genuine Ticket" means the ticket record is real. Whether the draw itself can be checked is a separate thing: with Verified draws, the draw's own page links to a public check of how the winners were picked. The ticket page links back to the draw.

Keep old QR codes working

What it doesn't do

Running raffles responsibly

Common questions

Can buyers print their raffle tickets?

Yes, with the Print Ticket add-on. On a draw's page they open My Tickets and choose Print Receipt, then print it or save it as a PDF on A4 or thermal receipt paper.

How does the QR code on a ticket work?

It links to a public page on your site that confirms the ticket is genuine and shows the draw's status. The link is signed with a secret key, so it can't be faked.

Can the QR code be used to check people in?

No. The check page is read-only and doesn't mark tickets as used.

What happens to printed tickets if a draw is voided?

If a verified draw is voided and its tickets refunded, scanning a ticket shows "Genuine ticket: refunded, draw voided".
